There was a double celebration at this year鈥檚 91精品视频graduation for two former PhD students who attended the ceremony as newlyweds.

Dr Guy Trimby and Dr Elise Depauw tied the knot on 22^nd July at the Tigh an Truish, Seil in front of a small wedding party that included former 91精品视频colleagues. They celebrated with the wider 91精品视频and UHI community at graduation last Friday.

The couple were part of the same intake of PhD students on the 2^nd October 2017 and said they 鈥榡ust clicked鈥� from that first day.

Elise said: 鈥淲e both have a passion for food, especially seafood, so I鈥檓 glad we met in Oban!

鈥淚t鈥檚 so nice to be graduating together; I feel like that鈥檚 our 91精品视频journey fully complete.鈥�

Guy now works as a research and development scientist at biotechnology company MiAlgae and Elise is an environment co-ordinator for Diageo.
